Born
on April 5, 1954 to Sri. P. M. Alexander and Smt. Lilly
Alexander. Entered politics through Kerala Students
Federation. Held responsible positions in Student Federation
of India, Democratic Youth Federation of India, and
CPI (M). Was imprisoned and tortured during Emergency.
Became one of the youngest members of Rajya Sabha at
the age of 32. Member of the CPI(M) Central Committee
and State Secretariat. Got elected from Kundara. This
is his first term as member of Kerala Assembly.
