to Sri. C.K. Shivarama Panikkar and Smt. Ammukuttyamma
at Manacaud in Thiruvananthapuram on 1945 March 29.
Joined CPI in 1964 and became a trade union leader.
Abandoned teacher’s job for fulltime political
activity. Was jailed in connection with Job or Jail
agitation. Now member of CPI National Council and State
Secretariat. He is also AITUC State General Secretary
and National Vice President. Represents Karunagappally
constituency.
