Malappuram 24-11-2011 : The first financial assistance in Chief Minister’s Mass Contact Programme in Malappuram went in favour of  Alukanniyil Shameem of Keezhuparambu Panchayath, Eranad Taluk as treatment assistance. Shameem who has been suffering from serious injury in a road accident was brought in an ambulance to the venue of Mass Contact Programme. The CM handed over a cheque of Rs 50,000. The CM granted  Rs one lakh to Rasney (11) daughter of  Mangalaparamban Rasheed of Valillappuzha, for cancer treatment. She has been undergoing treatment at Shri Chithira Tirunal hospital and has been lying bed ridden for the last 8 years.   Mangalaparamban Rasheed received the cheque from the CM. The CM also gave instructions to officials to enlist the family in to the BPL category.
