Palakkad 09-12-2011: At the CM’s Mass Contact Programme Rs 1.62,65,000 was sanctioned as medical aid to 4614 applicants.

CM sanctioned Rs 1 crore for the 3357 applications received at the District Collectorate till Nov 26. The rest of the amount was sanctioned for the applications received on the spot.

A total of over 33,000 petitions were received. The programme which started at 9.30 am in the morning went on till11.30 pm.

Minister A P Anilkumar, MLAs Shafi Parampil, V T Balram, District Collector K V Mohankumar, District Police Superintendent M P Dinesh were present to help the CM throughout.
