Thiruvananthapuram 22-02-2012: The existence of a peaceful society forms the base of any development, said CM. It is the onus of the police to ensure peace and safety.  Taking into consideration the increasing responsibility of the police, the strength of police department would be increased in the coming years, said CM.  He was speaking at the passing out parade of the fourth batch of the Special Armed Police here today.

CM reminded that any lapse from the side of Police in law and order, it will affect the society as a whole. CM also distributed prizes to those who performed well during the training session.
