District Collector has been entrusted to submit a detailed report within one month considering grievances if any.
The railway line will pass through areas having minimum density of population and thus the land acquisition will affect only very few people, the meeting pointed out.
Decision has been made to start the work of Kollam underpass immediately. Collector will take the decision regarding land acquisition after discussing with corporation and railway authorities.
