Student Police in 450 Schools: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 02-08-2011: Measures will be taken to extend the activities of Student Police Cadet (SPC) to 450 schools, said CM. He was inaugurating the first anniversary celebration of SPC at Tagore theatre here.
Steps will be initiated to provide two sets of uniform to the SPC members.
CM informed that instruction has been given to Education Minister to submit a report regarding what all encouragements can be given to the cadets who perform well.
Education Minister P K Abdurabb presided over the function. Ministers V S Sivakuamar, K Babu, M K Muneer, Kodiyeri Balakrishnan MLA, Mayor K Chandrika, Panchayath president Ramani P Nair were also present.
