Kozhikode 18-08-2011: It was back to classroom time for CM and his colleagues as the entire state cabinet gathered at the IIM Kozhikode to learn how achieve increased productivity and efficiency by sharpening the governance skills, goal-based planning and result-oriented working strategies.
Ahead of the classes CM interacted with the B School students. “Our state has a lot of strengths and also weaknesses. Only after we recognise these can we act accordingly,” CM told students. CM and his cabinet colleagues arrived in the classroom before 9 a.m. He even instructed his ministers to switch off their mobiles.
The classroom sessions are being led by IIM-K director Debashis Chatterjee. Other than the IIM-K faculty, Confederation of Indian Industry director (investment) Chandrajith Chatterjee, head of Narayan Hridyalaya Devi Prasad Shetty, and former head of central public sector FACT, Dr T.T. Thomas are also scheduled to hold lectures.
