Pension scheme for NRKs
Thiruvananthapuram 02-09-2011 : Chief Minister said here on Friday that the Government had plans to introduce a pension scheme for economically backward NRKs who had completed 60 years. Inaugurating the NORKA centre at Thycaud, Thiruvananthapuram, he said steps would also be taken to promote awareness among the NRKs on laws in the Gulf countries . Govt will seek the help of expatriate organizations in this matter. The Government will urge the Centre to appoint at least one Malayali official in embassies in different countres. So that their grievances can be addressed at the earliest. Minister in charge of NORKA and Rural Development K. C .
