Sulthanbathery 16-09-2011: The Right to Service Act which ensures that the people get the required service from Government offices will be implemented in the state within a year, said CM. He was inaugurating the Bathery Mini Civil Station here.
The draft has already been prepared and the Act will be implemented after consultation with various service organizations, said CM. The projects that are progressing slowly will be completed in a time bound manner. In the first phase a years Right to Service Programme will be implemented.
The headquarters of Rapid Action force that is to be formed to protect the farmers from the attack of wild animals will be at Bathery, since the farmers here are worst affected in this regard.
The project to rehabilitate the farmers who reside inside the forest area will be implemented soon. As of now Rs 80 crores has been sanctioned for this purpose.
CM will hold discussion regarding this with the Central Ministers and more funds will be procured for this.
Minister V.K Ibrahimkunju presided over the function. The financial aids under different projects were distributed by Mininster P.K Jayalakshmi. M.A shanavas, MP K.L Paulose, MLA I.C Balakrishanan, and Collector V. Ratheesan were present.
