Panamarom 16-09-2011: The health project that is to be implemented in 4149 schools across the state was inaugurated by CM at Panamarom Govenmnet Higher Secondary School. All the schools in Wayanad and Palakkad district will be benefited from this project said CM.

The project was planned jointly by the health and Education departments. Each school will get the service of a doctor and nurse. Apart from this first aid kits will be distributed. CM said that the Government aims to come up with projects which benefit the people. Rs 148 crores have been set aside for the welfare of the traditional tribal people. CM said that 40% of the total fund will be spent in Wayanad district.

CM also inaugurated the special project for the welfare if the traditional tribals.

Minister K.C Joseph distributed the financial aid under different welfare schemes.

Minister Adoor Prakash distributed first aid kits and said that the health project will be implemented in 25% schools in Wayanad district this academic year itself and added that the project will be extended to all schools across the state in the coming years.

The village tourism project was inaugurated by Minister AP Anilkumar. He said that a special tourism master plan will be prepared for Alappuzha and Wayanad Districts.
