State should go in for total organic farming: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 25-09-2011: It is only through organic farming can the state achieve a toxin free food status, said CM. He added that Janasree has a major role to play in this regard.
Cm said that Government will give all help and support to Janasree to convert Kerala in to a toxin free land through organic farming. He was speaking at the valedictory function of Janasree festival.
It has been decided to give a cash award of Rs1,11,111 for the best female organic farmer.
Janasree mission chairman MM Hassan presided over the function. Ministers KC Joseph, V.S Sivakumar, Horticulture Mission director Dr K Prathapan also participated.
