Will end exploitation by Pharmaceutical Companies: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 28-09-2011: An effective mechanism will soon be in place to control the prices of basic medicines in the state. It has been found that the pharmaceutical companies are exploiting the people, said CM.
There will be an increased involvement of Medical Service Corporation in the sale of medicines. Meeting will be held with the representatives of pharmaceutical companies soon, said CM in the Assembly.
The availability of medicines for rat fever and dengue are ensured, said minister Adoor Praksh in the Assembly. He informed that steps have been taken to check the unprecedented rise in the prices of medicines in the state during the question hour.
