Retirement age-Youth’s concern will be addressed: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 29-09-2011: The State Government will take into consideration the concerns of the youth before taking the decision regarding the enhancement of retirement age of Government employees, said CM.
He was replying to a submission by P C Vishnunath in the Assembly. CM has said that the sub-committee formed will consult all section and will report all viewpoints regarding this. The service organizations consulted by the sub-committee have favoured enhancing the retirement age.
However a few service organizations were against this system as they fear the promotion opportunities of many may get affected.
CM said that the sub-committee would consult the youth and address their concerns.
