Security to be tightened at Guruvayoor Temple
Thiruvananthapuram 10-10-2011: The meeting convened by CM today discussed the ways of beefing up the security at Guruvayoor Temple. Additional Chief Secretary K Jayakumar presented the security audit report conducted in the temple as per the direction of the centre.
The security can be tightened in the temple with the co-operation of Police and Dewsom Board without causing any trouble to the devotees, the meeting pointed out.
The need to place most modern security system at important places within the temple was also discussed at the meeting.
Ministers V.S Sivakumar, C.N Balakrishanan, DGP Jacob Punnosse and members of Dewasom Board participated in the meeting.
