Reghu innocent: Gunman suspended
Thiruvananthapuram 12-10-2011: Satheesh, the gunman of K Sudhakaran MP who is the prime accused in beating an innocent man to death has been suspended from service, said CM. He was replying to the adjournment motion brought in by the opposition in the assembly.
Satheesh had beaten Reghu to death alleging that he was a pickpocket. But it has become evident from the enquiry that Reghu was innocent. Postmortem report states that Reghu succumbed to severe injuries in his head.
Government will protect the family of Reghu, said CM. The decision regarding giving financial aid to his family will be taken in today’s cabinet meeting.
