Thiruvananthapuram 12-10-2011: A 51 member committee to oversee the implementation of Endosulfan package will be constituted under Minister KP Mohanan, said CM. He was briefing the media after the cabinet meeting.
Minister KP Mohanan will be the Chairman of the committee and District Collector will be the convener. People’s representatives and political leaders will be co-opted to the committee.
The national Savings Relief Fund will be made available to all fishermen irrespective of the APL/ BPL discrimination.
Pension to former landlords will be hiked from Rs 500 to Rs 1500.
