Kochi 21-10-2011: More projects will be implemented in the state eying the development in the tourism sector, said CM. It is proposed to include the development projects of tourism sector in the 12th five year plan and also to harness the tourism potential of the state to its maximum. He was speaking at the function ‘Kerala Health Tourism 2011’ at Le- Meridian convention Centre here.
The Clean Kerala initiative aimed to solve the issue of waste disposal and treatment will help the tourism sector too. CM said that discussion regarding the development of tourism sector and new projects will be carried out with the experts in the respective fields before implementation.
Minister K Babu, Confederation of Indian Industries Chairman Jose Domenic, T K Manoj Kumar, Secretary, Tourism department also participated.
