Workers of Sewage farm will be protected: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 24-10-2011: The staffs of sewage farm at Muttathara will not lose their jobs as part of the land acquisition of the farm, said CM. He was speaking at a meeting convened to discuss the issue.
There are 37 permanent staffs and 43 contract staffs in the farm at present. CM has instructed District Collector M Nandakumar to carry out discussions with the representatives of workers union to arrive at a decision.
Ministers Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, V.S Sivakumar, Shibu Baby John, KC Joseph and Additional Chief Secretary Niveditha P Haran participated.
