Huge turn out for Mass Contact Programme
Kozhikode 05-11-2011 :Kozhikode: In matters pertaining to development of the State the differences in opinion should be kept aside, said CM and added that the problems of people should be addressed without political divide. He was inaugurating the Mass Contact Programme here today.
CM said that this programme is part of bringing governance to the people. CM distributed 1000 pattayams and financial aid of around Rs 1 crore.
Apart from hearing petitions that came through the registration process several petitions were also received on the spot. Thousands of petitioners turned up to get their grievances resolved, in spite of vehicle strike.
Separate counters were opened for different sections to lodge their complaints at the ground here. Arrangements have been made to hear the petitions later of those who could not make it today because of the strike.
