Pathanamthitta 26-11-2011:For the time bound implementation of Sabarimala Master Plan, a special body will be constituted with the minister for Dewasom as its head, said CM. The Government aims to implement the Master Plan effectively. A High Level meeting will be called right after the end of this pilgrimage season said CM.
He was inaugurating the Pampa- Triveni- Njannungar service road built by the Akhilabharatha Ayyappa Seva Sanghom at Pamapa.
CM said that the time for implementation of Sabarimala Master Plan has already expired and that the state lags behind in providing facilities for pilgrims who come here. Basic facilities will be developed with the help of other states.
CM reiterated the onus of the Government in providing basic facilities for pilgrims. Crores of pilgrims visit the sate each year. Though several things are done by this Government in this short span of time, complete satisfaction has not been achieved, said CM.
Minister V.S. Sivakumar said that the construction of sewerage treatment plant would start after this season. The 30 guidelines laid in the report regarding the Pullumedu tragedy are being followed, he said.
Sewasangom President Thennala Balakrishna Pillai, Anto Antony MP, Raju Abraham MLA, District Collector Venugopal were also present.
