Thiruvananthapuram 06-12-2011: The All Party Meeting convened by CM has demanded that steps should be taken to alleviate the fear and anxiety and action initiated for the safety of all people.
The meeting has called for self-restrain from the people as the Secretary level talks are going to be held on 15, 16 of this month. For the smooth conduct of the talks favorable atmosphere should be created by the people by not indulging in any kind of unruly protests.
The meeting has instructed to take action against those who take law into their hands. Immediate steps should be taken for resolving the issue without vitiating the friendly relation of the two states.
The Government has promised to taken steps to resolve the confusion created as a result of the statement given by Advocate General in High Court.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, Ministers K.M Mani, Tiruvanchoor Radhakrishanan, P K Kunhalikutty, Shibu Baby John, Leader of Opposition V S Achuthanandan, Chief Secretary Dr P Prabhakaran, Additional Chief Secretary K Jayakumar, DGP Jacob Punnoose, and various other leaders participated in the meeting.
