Kasargode 16-12-2011: Follow up actions will be taken on the applications received as part of the Mass Contact Programme, said CM. He was inaugurating the Mass Contact Programme here today.
After the conclusion of Mass Contact Programmes in all the districts discussions will be held as how to avail maximum benefits to people, said CM. Those suggestions and opinions acceptable will be implemented. A social audit will also be conducted to find out how far the people have benefited out of the Mass Contact Programme.
CM reiterated that not even a single application should go without an answer. The officials should also give in their maximum to redress the woes of people.
CM said that the officials alone cannot be blamed. Only if several administrative reforms are implemented can the people get their benefits.
MLAs N L Nellikunnu, P.B Abdul Razaq, K Kunjiraman, E Chandrasekhar, District Collector K N Satheesh, other officials and several elected representatives were present.
CM distributed title deeds to 600 persons who were landless. Rs 5 lakh was given as solatium to Musthafa, father of Shafeeq who died in a police firing on Nov 5, 2009.
CM also handed over the CD to Medical College Hospital Superintendent, M S Musthafa that contains the names of persons affected by the use of Endosulfan who are referred for treatment at Yenapppoya MCH.
