Mass Contact Programme: Financial assistance of Rs 1.14 crores sanctioned

Kasargode 17-12-2011: CM has sanctioned a total of Rs 1.14 crores as financial assistance in the Mass Contact Programme here yesterday.

Solatium of Rs 1 lakh each was given to the families of 54 persons who died due to the use of endosulfan. Total of 55 lakh was sanctioned as medical assistance to 3,895 persons in the district. A total of 24,621 applications were received.
