Thiruvannahapuram 04-01-2012: CM has instructed the officials of health department to expedite the construction of the new block at Pamapadi taluk head quarters hospital.
In the meeting chaired by CM for reviewing the progress in construction of a new block of the hospital here, the officials informed that the work is in the final phase and the block would be ready for inauguration by February end.
The meeting has also decided to sanction more posts of doctors. Doctors specialized in General Medicine, Surgery, Gynecology, Pediatrics, Anesthesiology and Orthopedics will be posted apart from the five doctors there. Sanction will also be given for the posts of Para medical staffs.
Minister Adoor Prakash, Health Secretary Rajeev Sadanandan, Health Department Additional Director Sreerekha Panikar, Block Panchayath President Susammakunju and Kottayam District Medical Officer Ayisha Bhai were present.
