Action plan to reopen Kundara Alind Factory: CM
Thiruvananthapuram 13-01-2012: CM has instructed to prepare an action plan for reopening Kundara Alind factory that has been closed for the past 14 years.
CM has instructed the management to prepare a detailed action plan and to hand over the same to Industrial Department within a week. Final decision regarding this would however be made only after carrying out discussions with union representatives. The action plan should include all the benefits for those who have retired from the company.
The management should submit detailed action plan to develop other Alind units in the state.
Miinisters P K Kunhalikutty, Shibu Baby John, MLAs M A Baby, Ilamarom Kareem, PK Gurudasan were also part of the meeting.
