Thiruvananthapuram 19-01-2012: Those assurances given in the budget speech and speech of Governor, that are not carried out will be forwarded to the ministers concerned and action would be initiated, said CM. He was inaugurating the Assurance Implementation Desk, here today.
A system will be evolved so that the people can review the assurances given in the assembly and if not fulfilled will be intimated to the persons concerned.
The desk is set up at a cost of Rs 24 lakhs with the technical help of National Informatics. Intranet facility will be utilized so that the officials in Assembly and Government Secretariat can review this. There are at present 3464 assurances in the data base that were given in the assembly.
Minster K C Joseph, National Informatics officer Dr K Santhanaraman, V s Sunilkumar MLA, K Kutti Ahammad Kutti and K R Jyothilal were also present at the occasion.
