Kozhikode 20-01-2012: Special attention will be given to the IT sector in Malabar region and more projects would be brought to this region for the development of IT sector here, said CM. He was laying the foundation stone for the Software Development Building of UL Cyber Park here.
CM also said that the work of the first phase of Government Cyber Park in Kozhikode will start by end of April and will be completed in a time bound manner. It is the time for us to focus more on IT sector since there will be a boom for this sector in the coming years, said CM.
CM said that there are many IT professionals in our state working abroad. Projects like these would enable them to come back to our state and thus our state will be able to take a lead role in IT development.
Minster M K Muneer, MK Raghavan MP, MLAs Elamaram Kareem, A Pradeepkumar and other officials were also part of the function.
