Thiruvananthapuram 23-01-2012: Taking into consideration the special situation of Kerala, the toll collection at Paliyakkara toll plaza in the Angamali- Mannuthy stretch cannot be stopped, said CM. He was speaking at a meeting convened to discuss the issue.
CM said that the decisions taken at the meeting at Ernakulam on 10th of last month will be implemented. CM also instructed to complete all the works that was to be completed before Dec 31 at the earliest. The work of the service roads will also be completed in a time bound manner, said CM. The toll can be collected only after the completion of all the works. Decision on reducing the toll amount will be taken after consultation with the PWD Minister.
Ministers V K Ibrahim Kunju, Secretary Manoj Joshi, elected representatives and officials also participated in the meeting.
