Modern technology for waste treatment
Thiruvananthapuram 31-01-2012: Waste treatment plants with most modern technology would be set up across the state to resolve the problem of waste disposal. The decision was taken at a meeting chaired by CM to discuss the problem of waste disposal in Kannur and Thalassery corporations.
Decentralized waste treatment methods would be encouraged to dispose the wastes and methods would be adopted to dispose the wastes at home itself. Government has asked a time of six months to find a solution to this problem.
