Thriuvananthapuram 02-02-02012: The review meeting of the 35th National Games will be held on Feb 21. The decision came at the meeting convened by CM to discuss the problems related with the construction of Stadium at Karyavattom.
The meeting also discussed the issues of the Kerala University in connection with the construction of the stadium. CM has instructed the officials concerned to give a final reply by Wednesday. If the issue is sorted then the contract would be signed the coming Thursday itself, said CM.
CM has also given instruction to go forward with the tender process of the Games Village and Stadiums at Karyavattom, Thrissur and Kozhikode before Feb 15. He has also instructed to speed up the works of the stadium and other related works in a time bound manner.
Minsters K B Ganesh Kumar, P K Abdu Rabb, M K Muneer, MLAs K Muraleedharan, A P Abdullakutty and other officials were also present.
