Students of Navodaya School visits CM

Thiruvananthapuram 08-02-2012: The students of Jawahar Navodaya School (Class 6& 8), Kollam today visited CM as part of their study tour. They presented CM 160 rose flowers.

The first question to CM was about the security of Sree Padmanabha Swami Temple. CM replied that the state has the onus to protect the valuables which belongs to the temple and added that 233 police personals would be deployed soon for the security of the temple. CM briefed them regarding the security arrangements worth Rs 33 crore that is to be placed in the temple.

To the question of students regarding Kochi Metro and Mono rail, CM replied that the Kochi Metro project would start soon and the mono rail would be implemented in Trivandrum and Kozhikode respectively.

CM also shared some lighter moments with the students by explaining them the incident of  a person sitting in this chair which was views by a person in Gulf through his website.

CM also advised the students to give more focus on their studies.
